Mark James

Having spent the first part of his career working with some of the biggest agencies across the UK and Ireland, Mark decided that the best next move for him was not quite to the opposite side of the fence, but perched right on top of it - squarely between agency and publisher - at Converge.

Having joined as Director of Strategy & Business Development in late 2021, Mark has an excellent, strategic understanding of how agencies and advertisers work, as well as an appreciation for what they want to achieve from Digital Media.

And having won multiple awards for his work at agency level, including a Cannes Gold Lion, he is a trusted voice for all client types within our business.

Away from work, Mark has a constant glint in his eye when mentioning his family, as well as a deep appreciation for culture. Alongside being an avid fan of The National, he holds a love for what both Paris and Amsterdam offer in relation to their history and elegance - or as he describes it so eloquently, “their Frenchness and Dutchness”.
